Alan is a freelance training consultant with an accountancy background who specialises in a wide range of IT Applications. He has delivered bespoke and applications training for public/commercial bodies including O2 Airwave, DFID, MOD, Inland Revenue, DTI, BAA, and HMRC – including Floorwalking and support. As an Applications Training Consultant he was a Team Leader managing five other trainers. As a Product specialist, he was involved in courseware production and maintenance, course design, training delivery and client consultancy, having responsibility for Excel and Lotus, MS Project and Excel VBA.
Alan still maintains an accountancy practice and can conduct Needs Analysis; write, produce and deliver training courses to specifications; supply/install computerised accounting systems and train in their use; deliver Sage Accounts training; and train and assess to NVQ4 BTEC Accountancy.

Alex is a specialist in work based training, has an Oxford Master's in Hospitality & Leisure management and a strong operational and training background in business management.
Alex has had a successful career from unit management to that of National Brand Training, Learning & Development Manager for such brands as Beefeater, Costa Coffee, TGI Fridays, Marriott Hotels & Travel Inn. Alex has designed and implemented learning & development strategies for a broad range of management – from unit to general. She has trained senior operational management, as well as working with key individuals to identify 'talent' for organisational progression.

Anne | Human Resources | Management Coaching | Facilitator | MCIPD | MIL |
Anne is a Freelance HR and Management Development Consultant, and has recently carried out projects for Portsmouth City Council.
She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, is qualified in the Certificate in Education (Adult Learning) and is a Member of the Institute for Learning.
Through working in senior Strategic HR roles, Anne has wide experience of people management and organisational development, structural change management projects, and managing operational Human Resources teams.
Anne has provided one to one management coaching for managers, delivered people management training and is a trained Action Learning Set facilitator for managers.
She has worked as a part time lecturer on the Certificate in Management programme at South Downs College.
Bill | Media | Management Coaching | Video Production
Bill served for 23 years in the Royal Navy as a photographer. He has a wide and varied background in photography,
video production and training. During his time in the RN he produced a number of award winning training videos and
helped to train hundreds of personnel, including key senior officers. It is fitting, therefore, that all this
experience is brought together to provide training support, simulated press coverage and corporate video production
services for a wide variety of clients, such as the Portsmouth NHS Trust and a number of military establishments.
Bill has developed, with mahl, a workshop designed to help those who have to face and deal with the media as part of
their work role. The workshop is designed to support their needs and give them hands on practise and an understanding
of how to speak and work with the media.
Brenda | Credit Manager | Lecturer
Brenda is a Vice President of the Institute of Credit Management, and a qualified trainer, providing credit training to many businesses as well as teaching on the Institute’s professional courses at South Downs College Portsmouth.
Brenda spent many years working as a credit manager, in particular in the FMCG market, and more recently has combined teaching and training with credit management projects for companies large and small.
Bridget | Well-being at Work | Lecturer | Clinical Methodologies
Bridget's experience combines working in the clinical field with business. For a number of years she worked with large pharmaceutical companies to evaluate the impact of new drugs on the health and well-being of patients participating in clinical trials. Bridget recognised the lack of reliable metrics available to organisations to help them make evidence-based decisions about the health of their people and, as a result, she now helps organisations to apply the same scientific rigour and methodologies used in clinical settings to the workplace. Specifically, she works with organisations to help them generate scientific data around employee health and well-being and mapping these to important business outcomes. She is a guest lecturer on this topic at Cranfield University and is continuing her interest in this field with a PhD.
Catherine | Coaching | Change Management Consultant
is a professional coach and management consultant, with more than two decades experience of helping people and organisations to change. As a consultant with Ernst & Young/CapGemini she sold, managed and delivered change management and organisation development consultancy to major ‘blue chip’ clients.
She combines this experience with her coaching and counselling training to provide powerful coaching to executives and senior managers in organisational or personal transition. Her career experience includes IT, finance and sales and marketing as well as HR and consulting. She supports our leadership and one-to-one coaching courses.
Chester | IT Trainer | MOS Master Instructor | Microsoft Office | Visio | Publisher
Chester has 14 years' plus training experience plus extensive corporate and public sector experience. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and is a MOS Master Instructor (Microsoft's Instructor Qualification). He is ECDL qualified. His corporate experience includes Google, Shell International, HSBC (Canary Wharf), House of Fraser, QBE Insurance Group, McDonalds, EdExcel, H&M Hennes Ltd. His public sector experience includes Brighton and Hove City College, Southdowns NHS Trust (inc PAS), British Medical Association, Shoreditch Trust, Brighton and Hove City Council, the Treasury Office and the Stationery Office.
Training can be offered in all versions of Microsoft Office including Access, Visio and Publisher, and he also offers an MS Office 2007 upgrade course. Chester can also deliver the ECDL Course, HTML/CSS Training and Dreamweaver courses.

Claire is a MOS Master Instructor - which really means an expert in Microsoft products; such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. She holds a teaching diploma and is engaged in real life use of the software, as well as instruction, so you can be sure of some appropriate scenarios, advice and guidance.

David is a qualified physicist with 22 years in the Aerospace and Defence sector and 10 years in the services and facilities management sector mostly at board level. He was seconded to the US, leading a multi-disciplinary team to penetrate the US defence marketplace. Upon return from the US, David took a post as the Managing Director of a newly acquired SME, dealing with the change and culture issues that characterise a new business acquisition.
Whilst in the facilities management sector, David successfully led a bid team for the privatisation of the Atomic Weapons Establishment – Aldermaston. This activity presented many political, cultural and people challenges, culminating in a successful bid.
In 2001 David qualified with a diploma in Company Direction from The Institute of Directors. In 2002, David, founded a management and training business. He became a chartered director in 2003. David works with the IoD delivering The Finance for non Financial Directors programme as part of the Certificate in Company Direction with particular emphasis upon public sector organisations. David has specialised in delivering this programme for public sector organisations and understands some of the challenges they face.

Heather is the Marketing Associate for Moore Associates Hampshire Limited and has over ten years experience in telemarketing. Heather’s contribution to Moore Associates is further enhanced not only by her excellent telemarketing skills, but also her original background in Human Resources as she worked for twelve years at IBM, Portsmouth. Heather was also Project Manager for implementing the original Data Protection Act legislation in 1984 and was recognised for this pioneering work with a major award. In her role at The Manpower Society, Heather worked with many top Executives from industry, including the Police Complaints Authority, HSBC, ACAS, P&O, British Steel, Ashridge and Henley Management Colleges.
Her unique and valued experience of the world of HR make her understanding and commitment to her marketing role with Moore Associates a successful combination, as she is able to easily converse with all level of management and understands the protocol of the HR functions.

Ian’s career includes more than 20 years experience as a sales and general manager/director in industries such as electronics, plastics, automotive, IT, security and components, after first training as an electronics engineer in the Royal Navy. He has significantly increased the sales turnover and profits for his employers and clients over this period by formulating and implementing strategic plans for their businesses.
He has a a flair for teamwork and a passion for developing people and creating environments that help them to reach their maximum potential. Ian stimulates and inspires individuals, executives and teams to identify their shadows and limiting beliefs, to transform mindsets and produce the desired results. Ian holds qualifications in individual and team coaching and is continually learning about human beings and their relationships. He also offers performance-coaching as well as marketing workshops. He works with companies to support their marketing and team building.

Nick | Executive Coaching & Consultancy
Nick brings to his consultancy work a broad industrial and commercial experience that is based on real hands on business development,
whether through organisation and team building, revenue growth plans by expanding sales, new market developments, product enhancements,
or through acquisition. He has had considerable experience in acquisitions and disposals, having been involved with due diligence as both
buyer and seller.
Nick has for many years developed, built and run companies in the UK, Europe and the US. He spent twenty years
with a major division of the Sperry Corporation, starting in engineering design, before moving into progressively more senior commercial roles
in the US and Europe, eventually assuming responsibility for a pan-European Sales and Marketing organisation turning over in excess of $230 million.
He went on to spend ten years with Charles Baynes, a UK PLC, where he built a group of acquired businesses into a global leader, consistently

Richard has been a journalist, writer and broadcaster specialising in business and industry for more than 25 years. Currently he freelances for The Daily Telegraph. Richard also specialises in business media training for Press, Radio and TV. He is a principal presenter for The PR Training Centre and visiting lecturer in Journalism and PR for Buckingham University. He has presented hundreds of courses for many major corporations. He is the author of the best selling business book Bad Company, chosen by The Sunday Times as its Business Book of the Week, and used as a course text book on a number of MBA courses and also the author of the popular management handbook Do Your Own PR. Richard's speciality is in helping businesses to manage their environmental impact. He has experience of setting up and managing a small business and is therefore, able to bring an understanding of the difficulties of running a business to his training sessions. Richard studied environmental management long before it was fashionable and then moved into other areas before coming back to it and studying for an Open University degree. Stuart has had senior roles in the Process Industry and with International Process and Engineering Contractors, and most recently worked with companies on longer term IT projects as a Senior Technical Consultant, providing global support for Aspentech Icarus software Kbase, IPE and IPM (now Aspen Economic Evaluation suite) and Pertmaster (now Oracle) Project Risk scheduling risk products, as well as a number of in-house programs some of which he developed for the Client.

Stuart has facilitated Risk Assessment sessions for clients including Shell, Saudi Aramco and Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. He can support statistical data analysis, benchmarking software output, and Monte Carlo simulation applications on a Consultancy basis.

Tracy is an experienced sales and management trainer. She started her career in sales in 1986, working for a large business publishing house and managing a team of telephone sales executives. She then joined a start-up recruitment consultancy, with responsibilty for growing the business, both from a hands on sales perspective and from a more strategic management point of view. She moved into training in 1998 and now co-runs her own training consultancy.
She holds a training qualification through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Her experience combines strong training and facilitation skills with hands on experience of managing and growing a business in a highly competitive market. Wendy specialises in delivering financial training to non financial people. She has many years experience in both accounting and training and is a Chartered Management Accountant, qualified teacher and trainer. Her accountancy career spans 15 years in senior financial management covering management buy-outs, SMEs and larger PLCs. She has trained people from a range of business sizes and types including manufacturing, farming, design, development, health, retail and leisure. In the public sector she has helped members leaving the armed forces in setting up and running new businesses and trained NHS managers with budget responsibility. Wendy understands what financial skills business owners and managers need on a day-to-day basis to successfully manage. She is experienced in developing programmes to suit the needs of individuals with financial decision making responsibility and those involved in reviewing financial performance. She is focused on giving business people a sound understanding of finance enabling them to be confident when processing financial information.
