Work & Well-being

Many workplace studies show a direct link between productivity and employee well-being. A fit and happy workforce will reap benefits to an employer in terms of enhanced performance, reduced absenteeism and lower attrition. Improved well-being can also cut healthcare costs.

The first step to managing well-being in the workplace is to measure and monitor it effectively. Data obtained is then used to plan solutions that will help leadership to develop strategies that improve work practices and develop a values based ethos that supports the well-being of their employees.

Working with Work and Well-Being Ltd, mahl has developed a unique approach to employee well-being that is research-based and that provides opportunities for leaders to identify areas of difficulty and to deal with them effectively with a variety of approaches that suit their needs and are tailored for them.

Keeping Staff Morale Positive

Well-being courses can be seen to be about massages and offering colleagues a variety of experiences such as neck and head massages, yoga, chill areas, relaxation areas to help relief stress and difficulties at work. The question that needs to be asked is: why are these strategies needed? Is the work situation causing stress? Do employees have time to reassess their working situations, their health mentally and physically so that illness and stress can be avoided? The courses offered help the leader and the individual to mitigate situations that cause difficulties and will help their well being in the work situation.
